Manager of Strategic Development
Megan Welch is the Manager of Strategic Development for NCTL. She is responsible for building the organization’s development strategy to grow government, foundation, and corporate support for NCTL’s efforts to expand learning time through technical assistance, knowledge tools, research, and policy.
Prior to joining NCTL, Megan managed the free arts education programs at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago, where she developed curriculum and teacher guides for the Student Subscription series, organized professional development for incorporating arts into English and Humanities classrooms, and managed offsite community partnerships. Most recently, Megan raised government and foundation funds to support strategic planning, capital improvements, and free education programs at the Citi Performing Arts Center (formerly the Wang Center for the Performing Arts) in Boston.
Megan holds an Ed.M. in Arts in Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and earned a B.A. from Boston College’s Lynch School of Education.
