Jennifer Jewell joined NCTL as the Managing Director of Finance and Operations in February 2015. In this role, Jennifer has leadership responsibility for all aspects of financial management, including budget, accounting, and grant administration. In addition to Finance, Jennifer leads many aspects of NCTL’s operations, including facilities, office management, and general operations.
Jennifer brings over 15 years of experience managing Finance and Operations at various nonprofit and public organizations. Most recently she was the Senior Director of Finance and Regional Operations for KIPP MA, helping to grow the network of charter schools from 1 to 5 schools in 4 years.
Previously she spent five years at City Year, Inc., where she managed a team responsible for accounting, finance and grant administration at over 20 sites across the country. Jennifer holds a Bachelors of Science in Management from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a Masters of Public Administration with a Nonprofit Administration concentration from San Francisco State University.
