Lisa Pryor

Senior Advisor for NCTL’s State & District Engagement

Lisa Pryor is Senior Advisor for NCTL’s State & District Engagement and Federal Policy initiatives working specifically on strategy, development and delivery of technical assistance and outreach.

Prior to joining NCTL Lisa served as Assistant State Superintendent for Innovation, Support and Alternative Education for the State of Oklahoma with a portfolio that included 21st Century Community Learning Centers, Advanced Placement, Alternative Education, Dropout Prevention, Gifted & Talented, Health & Physical Fitness, Instructional Materials, Media, and Technology, and Safe and Healthy Schools programs. In addition she was the lead on the state’s Time Reform Initiative and the Student Advisory Council project. While at the Oklahoma State Department of Education she was also involved in the Learn & Serve America, Community Education and the National High School Civic Engagement Initiative (Project 540) programs. While teaching in Norman Public Schools Lisa created and lead a middle school service-learning class that earned national recognition from the Corporation for National and Community Service as well as teaching honors from the district.
