In New York, the TIME Collaborative is a partnership between the National Center on Time & Learning, the Ford Foundation, the New York State Department of Education, and several local community partners including the Rochester Area Community Foundation, The After-School Corporation (TASC).
Five New York schools in Rochester are moving forward with the implementation of expanded learning time (ELT) in the 2013-2014 school year after submitting plans that met TIME Collaborative standards for both high-quality and sustainability. Throughout the year, leadership teams from these schools will participate in a series of technical assistance sessions led by NCTL staff and receive onsite coaching as they continue to refine the implementation of their expanded school schedule.
