Lisa Pryor

Senior Director, State & District Engagement

Lisa Pryor is a senior director of State & District Engagement at NCTL, where she focuses on strategy, development, and delivery of technical assistance and outreach.

Prior to joining NCTL, Lisa served as Assistant State Superintendent for Innovation, Support and Alternative Education, at the Oklahoma State Department of Education. In that position, Lisa administered an $85 million portfolio that included the 21st Century Community Learning Centers program along with state programs in Advanced Placement, Alternative Education, Dropout Prevention, Gifted & Talented, Health & Physical Fitness, Instructional Materials, Media, and Technology, and Safe and Healthy Schools. Along with these responsibilities, Lisa was the lead on Oklahoma’s Time Reform Initiative and the state’s Student Advisory Council project. She previously coordinated programming for the Learn & Serve America, Community Education, and the National High School Civic Engagement Initiative (Project 540) programs in Oklahoma.
Before serving as Assistant State Superintendent, Lisa received teaching honors for teaching social studies in the Norman Public Schools where she created and led a middle school service-learning program that earned national recognition from the Corporation for National and Community Service.
