Pete November

Chief Operating Officer

Pete November is Chief Operating Officer at NCTL.  In his role, Pete oversees strategic development, finance, and human resources, and also focuses on effectively integrating NCTL’s strategies, programs, and operations. 
 
Prior to joining NCTL, Pete spent six years at City Year, a national education reform organization powered by national service.  As a Regional Vice President at City Year, Pete oversaw several City Year sites, working closely their Executive Directors to maximize the impact of City year in each city, ensure the financial health of each local site, and support and implement local growth and scale plans.  Prior to becoming a Regional VP, Pete led AmeriCorps member recruitment and selection, as well as Alumni relations for City Year nationally. Prior to joining City Year, Pete was Managing Director for Pacific Community Ventures (PCV), a hybrid nonprofit/for-profit organization that brings resources and capital to small businesses operating in low-income communities in California.  Earlier in his career, Pete worked at the national office of the Breakthrough Collaborative (then called Summerbridge), as a consultant for CSC Index, and served as a City Year corps member in Boston. 
 
Pete’s education includes an MBA from Harvard Business School, and an MPA from the John F. Kennedy School of Government.
