Ami Novoryta

Deputy Director, Knowledge Management & Strategy

Ami Novoryta is the deputy director of Knowledge Management & Strategy at NCTL. In this capacity, Ami manages content development for NCTL's technical assistance to TIME Collaborative planning teams and plays a leadership role in ensuring the smooth launch and implementation of the Collaborative. She also monitors the organization's progress toward strategic goals, both for the TIME Collaborative and for NCTL overall.
 
Prior to joining NCTL, Ami completed the Boston Teacher Residency and taught fifth grade in two Boston Public Schools with expanded school days. Previously, Ami led development and communications at Erie Neighborhood House, a community-based nonprofit in Chicago that works to empower immigrants through education. She also has worked with A+ Illinois, a state-wide campaign for school funding reform, and at BRAC, a non-governmental agency in Bangladesh, where she developed a framework for the organization's educational advocacy efforts.  
 
Ami received her Master’s in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School, a Master’s in Education from the University of Massachusetts-Boston, and a Bachelor's of Arts in Communications from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
