The National Center on Time & Learning has compiled this database of public schools in the United States that have been identified as operating with more time per day and/or more days per year than surrounding public schools for all enrolled students. In addition to containing basic information about each school (name, location, grades served, etc.), the database includes data related to the school schedule (minutes per day and days per year) and draws from the U.S. Department of Education's Common Core of Data for demographic data and charter status, and from the Council of Chief State School Officers' School Data Direct for outcomes data.

A subset of schools have provided more detailed information related to management, staffing, scheduling and operational time relative to surrounding schools. Any school is able to add to or amend its own data by clicking on the link that appears in the box in the upper lefthand corner of each individual school page.
