NATIONAL CENTER ON TIME & LEARNING HIRES LEIGH HOPKINS AS NATIONAL NETWORK DIRECTOR
Education expert will support initiatives to expand learning time across the country
Boston, MA - The National Center on Time & Learning is pleased to announce that Leigh Hopkins has been named National Network Director for the Center. Throughout her career, Ms. Hopkins has been committed to ensuring that all children have access to a quality education. She has been a teacher, a youth program director, and was most recently Vice President for Education at Public/Private Ventures. In her new position, Hopkins will lead the Center’s technical assistance and public policy strategies to support state and district-wide initiatives to redesign and expand the school day.
“Leigh brings a wealth of experience and skills to our important work,” said Jennifer Davis, President and CEO of the National Center on Time & Learning. “She will play a key role leading a national outreach strategy to encourage state initiatives that expand learning time.”
