George Mastoras focuses on NCTL' s strategic communications and federal and state policy efforts. Additionally, George serves as NCTL’s webmaster, and he handles many of the organization's special projects.
Prior to joining the NCTL, George served as the national political coordinator at Progressive Majority, a national political organization based in Washington, D.C. that recruits candidates to run for office. During his tenure at the national office of Progressive Majority, George worked in the development department as well as the president’s office.
A graduate of Stonehill College, in Easton, MA, George holds a Master’s in Political Management from The George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management. George is also an alumnus of the Education Policy Fellowship Program of the Institute for Educational Leadership in Washington, D.C.
